Centres/Units and Group ‘A’ (Non-Gazetted Post) in Autonomous Bodies in Level 10 of Pay
Matrix in disciplines of (i) Civil; (ii) Electrical; (iii) Refrigeration and Air

Minimum marks need to apply for the post: Aggregate minimum of 65% marks or CGPA 6.84/10
NOTE: Graduation should have been completed within the stipulated duration of the course as prescribed by the University. Candidates who are going to complete the required course in the academic year 2024 25 are also eligible to apply, provided final degree is available by 31-08-2025 and their aggregate is 65% marks or CGPA 6.84/10. (Average of all semesters for which results are available.
Where a University mentions both CGPA and percentage of marks in its Degree Certificate or Consolidated Mark sheet, then at least one criteria (either CGPA or percentage) should meet DOS/ISRO’s eligibility norms.
Age Limit:
- 28 years as on 14.07.2025.
- 33 years in case of SC/ST candidates
- 31 years in case of OBC candidates
- Serving Central Govt. employees, Ex-Servicemen; Persons with Disabilities, are eligible for age relaxation as per Govt. of India orders
- UR/EWS candidates born on or after 15.07.1997
- OBC candidates born on or after 15.07.1994
- SC/ST candidates born on or after 15.07.1992
No Objection Certificate:
- Candidates who are employed under Central/State Government, Public Sector Undertakings, Autonomous Bodies etc. have to submit `No Objection Certificate’ from the employer concerned, at the time of Interview or as and when called for.
- The candidate should apply for the post only under intimation to and with the prior permission of the employer.
- A candidate who may gain/change employment after applying for the post, is required to inform the employer the particulars of his/her application and shall mandatorily submit NOC at the time of Interview.
- Any candidate, who fails to submit NOC in original at the time of Interview, shall not be permitted to appear in the Interview and TA will not be paid.
Application Fee:
- There is a non refundable Application Fee of ₹250 for all the posts. However, initially all candidates have to uniformly pay ₹750 per application as processing fee. The processing fee will be refunded only to those candidates who appear in the written test as under:
- ₹750 i.e. refund in full (women, SC/ST/ PwBD and Ex Servicemen).
- ₹500 i.e. after deducting the Application Fee in respect of all other candidates.

Pattern of the Question Paper for Written Test
- Single objective type paper consisting of two parts, viz. Part ‘A’ and Part ‘B’, with a duration of 120 minutes (with compensation time as applicable for PwBD candidates).
- Part ‘A’ Area/Discipline Specific part Consists of 80 Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs) of 1 mark each (+1 and 1/3 pattern of marking).
- Part ‘B’ Aptitude/Ability Tests Consists of maximum 15 Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs) totaling to 20 marks (No negative marks).
- Questions will be based on Numerical Reasoning, Logical Reasoning, Diagrammatic Reasoning, Abstract Reasoning and Deductive Reasoning.
Interview
- Based on performance in the written test, candidates will be short listed for Interview in the ratio of 1:5, with an aggregate minimum of 10 candidates.
- For reserved vacancies, distinct/additional candidates will be short listed in the ratio of 1:5 (maximum), without regard to the reserved candidates if any, short listed under UR category
- Interview Marks (Total =100 marks):
- Technical (Academic) Knowledge – 40
- General Awareness in relevance to the area of specialization (Technical) – 20
- Presentation/Communication Skill – 20

- For generation of the final panel, 50% weightage will be given to Written Test marks and 50% weightage to Interview marks
Pay and Allowances
- Level 10 of Pay Matrix and will be paid minimum basic pay of ₹56100 p.m. In addition, Dearness Allowance [DA], House Rent Allowance [HRA] and Transport Allowance are payable as per extant rules on the subject.
- The employees will be governed by the New Pension Scheme. Further, medical facilities for self and dependents, subsidised canteen, limited quarters facility (in lieu of HRA), Leave Travel Concession, Group Insurance, House Building Advance, etc. are admissible as per Central Government orders.
